Rachel Cahill has spent over 25 years helping people understand the real estate and mortgage industries from the inside out. She’s been a mortgage banker, a mortgage broker, a compliance consultant, an educator, a tech project manager, a software designer, and now, a Broker Associate and the Chief Operating Officer of one of Texas’s top real estate teams. But the titles only tell part of the story.

At her core, Rachel is a problem solver and teacher. She has built her career on the belief that people make better decisions when they understand what’s really going on—and she’s spent decades empowering both clients and professionals to do just that.

Her career began in lending, where she quickly saw an opportunity to improve the process. She founded the first contract mortgage loan processing firm in Texas, years before it was a common solution. She later shifted into compliance consulting, helping companies prepare for audits, develop processes, and stay aligned with evolving regulations. And when technology started changing the game, Rachel leaned in. She spent eight years managing a mortgage software platform, working directly with developers to design smarter, more compliant systems for underwriting, origination, and closing.

Alongside her consulting and tech work, Rachel found her way to the stage. She’s taught hundreds of hours of mortgage and real estate continuing education, authored multiple courses, and spoken at industry conferences around the country. Whether presenting to a small breakout session or addressing an audience of 500, Rachel brings clarity, insight, and a touch of humor to every talk. She’s known for making even the most complex topics relatable and actionable.

Today, as COO and Broker Associate at The Cliff Freeman Group, she continues to lead with that same combination of operational excellence and personal connection. She builds systems, mentors agents, supports clients, and keeps the whole engine running smoothly—all while keeping people at the center of it.

And it’s truly a family affair. Rachel’s two oldest kids, Sam and Kat, are agents with The Cliff Freeman Group, and her youngest, Noah, is proudly training for the role one day. Real estate conversations are part of daily life, whether at the office or around the dinner table.

When she’s not working, Rachel loves getting outdoors with her family. Whether hiking a new trail or traveling somewhere off the grid, she thrives on shared experiences and unplugged moments. These adventures keep her grounded and remind her why she works so hard—for the life built inside the homes she helps others find.
